He was sitting alone at a corner table when she entered the restaurant with his friend from Argentina. He and she were introduced and when he stood to shake her hand, she was overcome by his height, "You are so big," she uttered. "I'm this big all over," he said. He proposed to her when they were in Paris the next week, with their having left behind an ex-wife, an estranged husband, and one confused Argentinian ex-lover.
